Dental Implant Options
Single Dental Implant
Missing a single tooth can cause a cascade of other undesirable oral changes - not to mention, affect your appearance.
With a dental implant there’s no need to grind down your adjacent teeth the way you’d have to for a dental bridge. An implant won’t fall out and you never have to worry about the types of food you eat!
Multiple Dental Implants
Missing multiple teeth can put you in danger of bone loss. Eating your favorite foods, speaking clearly and smiling naturally aren’t things you can do any longer.
Multiple dental implants are as simple to place as a single implant. With your missing teeth permanently replaced, you can start to enjoy life again!
Dental Retained Dentures
If you’re missing all of your teeth, you’ve already given up enjoying the foods you loved, being able to speak clearly and are likely too embarrassed to smile without feeling insecure.
Dental implants are the perfect solution for those suffering the loss of all of their teeth. The denture is permanently attached using dental implant posts so you don’t have to worry about them slipping or falling out!
All-on-4
Missing all your teeth can make it difficult to enjoy your favorite foods, speak clearly, and smile with confidence. All-on-4 dental implants offer a reliable solution by using just four implants to securely support a full arch of teeth. This approach ensures a stable fit, eliminating worries about slipping or falling out, so you can eat, speak, and smile with ease.

Meet The Doctor
Dr. Leo Eliezer, the implant dentist at Dental Images of Gwinnett, is passionate about cosmetic and implant dentistry, motivating him to give people beautiful smiles and restore function in missing teeth. He graduated from Tufts University School of Dentistry in Boston, MA, in November 1994. Continuing Education and Professional Memberships Dr. Leo is a registered member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dental Organization of Conscience Sedation (DOCS), Academy of Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, and Alpha Omega Fraternity. In 1988, Dr. Leo penned a chapter in the Book of Periodontics regarding the use of a unique, red laser handpiece pre- and post-periodontal surgery. He has logged over 4,000 registered continuing education hours, qualifying him for a Fellowship and Mastery in the Academy of Dentistry, attended extensive training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, and received guidance from some of the finest clinical mentors in the country. Dr. Leo was elevated to Diplomate status, the highest status of Dental Implantology within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), on August 24, 2007, during the ICOI World Congress XXV & 10th Annual IPS Symposium, held in San Francisco, California. Dr. Leo is among the few dentists in Georgia to receive this honor. Dr. Leo was awarded Diplomate status a second time by the Board of Directors of the International Dental Implant Association in September of 2011 in Miami, FL. Very few dentists obtain Diplomate status in Dental Implantology twice in their lifetimes, especially by two different globally recognized organizations. Life and Hobbies Dr. Leo lives with his family in Alpharetta, and he is a proud community member. He donates his services through an Annual Free Dentistry Day to give back to the local community who have helped him prosper.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most of the time, the answer is YES! Most of our patients are excellent candidates for “teeth in a day” dental implants. While implant installation and temporary dental crowns can be placed in one day, most patients need approximately 6 months to completely heal prior to the final permanent prosthesis placement.
Gums do need to be healthy to support dental implants but that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of this permanent solution to tooth loss!
Our dentists will work with you to treat your gum disease and get your gums healthy again. Once your gums and bone area are healthy, we can move forward to placing your dental implants.
Definitely not! Dental implants are just like your real teeth. Eat crunchy, chewy food and enjoy it just as much as you did with your natural teeth!
Some dental offices need to do that, but we don’t! We are fully trained to complete your dental implant surgery from start to finish.
Age is generally not a factor, as long as you are older than 18. As long as you’re healthy enough to come to our dental office, you’re likely healthy enough to have dental implants as the permanent solution to your tooth loss
Lots of patients worry about dental pain, so let us put your mind at ease. For the dental implant surgery you’ll be numb and won’t feel a thing. It’s like taking a short nap and waking up with a new smile!
About 90% of our patients come in the next day for a follow-up with no bruising, swelling or pain. Patients generally report tolerable soreness as they heal. Occasionally a patient will have some pain, but it is uncommon and usually avoidable if you closely follow post-op instructions.
